We are looking for a talented R&D Engineer to join our vibrant global team on our growth path as we disrupt the foreign investment market.
In this role, you will be involved in delivering new functions and indispensable tools to the roadmap. Your work will offer unique and often surprising value to our clients and partners, keeping Deaglo far ahead of the competition. We are not looking to incrementally change the FX space but change it fundamentally.
Although focused on FX now, our ambitions are great and our platform will become the one-stop shop for anyone engaging in international investment.

What you can expect from the role
Here are some of the responsibilities of the role:
Your main responsibility is ideation within the FX/finance domain, creating new and yet indispensable functions to advance the state of the art. You will collaborate with, and receive guidance from the CTO
You will prototype (in Python) promising lines of inquiry and demonstrate them to the mgmt team
You will assist the product development team with your functions that are nominated to the roadmap
Some time should be spent deepening your skills (ML, mathematics etc.) and following the latest research

Requirements
Skill Needed to Succeed:
Excellent Python programming skills, including practical experience with Scipy, Keras/Tensor(NN), Scikit-learn.
Creative thinking- integrating tech and models from other domains
Strong math skills - linear algebra (transformations, Eigen, basis, etc), Bayesian, diff eqs etc.
Expert at displaying complex data graphically and interactively, yielding intuitive understanding
FX market/derivatives valuation and use in risk mgmt.
IR and commodity experience also good
Can distinguish practical from not practical applications!
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Be an independent, mature self-starter
Education
MSc degree or higher in physics, math or engineering
3+ years experience
